Day class 8:30am-1:30pm
Tuesday/ Wednesday/Thursday/Friday for one month
Evening class 6:00pm-10:00pm
Monday through Thursday for five weeks
Training Requirement
Provide documents affirming that one is not suffering from active infections tuberculosis.(TB clinics)
Complete five days of clinical experience in a clinical internship site (Nursing Home). This will be done on weekdays( Day class 6:00am-2:30pm/evening class 2:00pm-10:30pm).
Uniform and gait belt-Compulsory for clinical.
Register as a Nursing assistant with Department of Health. Necessary forms will be provided.(Forms)
Must be able communicate effectively in English. you are required to pass an English comprehension exam .
Background inquiries will be done on everyone. According to state law, if you have any criminal or financial exploitation convictions for acts done on a person under your care, you can not work in the Health Care field.
